An Ovations Award Nominee
For the homeless, I have given food and water for their pets and also given them food or money for themselves. I don’t always have cash, but I’ll grab things while I’m in the store and give it to them on my way out to my car. It can be a cruel world and everyone has challenges that they face so if I can help someone, I do. What they do with it is up to them, I just pray that it will help them to a better path.

How can I nominate someone for an Ovations Award?Nominations for an Ovations Award can be submitted by completing a Nomination Form for an individual, team, or organization in recognition of their efforts to go above and beyond for the homeless through an Act of Kindness. Nominations meeting submission criteria are posted for voting by the public on ACCOLADES’ website. Along with ACCOLADES' social media efforts to promote voting, nominees are encouraged to also solicit support from their friends, family, and colleagues. The nomination with the most votes, wins. The winner is announced and prize awarded. For a winning team/group or organization, the prize is provided to the key contact person specified on the Nomination Form.

Are there nomination submission criteria for the Ovations Award?Yes, ACCOLADE Celebrations reviews nominations for an Ovation Award to esure nominee(s) meet the following criteria: Is a Marion County, Florida resident Is at least 18 years of age The Act of Kindness was within the past 30 days of date of current entry Includes a brief paragraph about the Act of Kindness the nominee(s) did to improve the well-being of the homeless Provided an e-mail address for the nominee(s) Provided a home address for the nominee(s) The nominee(s) has no previous submission within the past 6 months of date of current entry

The nomination submission period is the first week of the month.
Entrant(s) must be 18 years of age or older by date of entry and accessible by e-mail and phone.
Only one submission is permitted within 6 months of a previous submission for the nominee(s).
